We celebrated the 4th of July by inviting all of our friends over for a cookout. It had been a long time since we'd all gotten together, so we had a great time!
We started off with LOTS of playtime! Here are Anna, Davis, and Avery playing in the house.
Then we ate a little dinner. I finally got to sit at the picnic table with the big kids!
Then we went downstairs to do some sparklers! I wasn't at all interested in the those, but did manage to con Liz into bringing me back inside to sit on the tractor!
Here is my buddy Nate! Next year, I'm betting he will want to sit on the tractor with me. I have a feeling he loves trucks too!
Our parents got us to sit all together for the traditional 4th of July kids picture. They bribed us with popscicles this year! I loved it! (Me- 17 mon, Caroline-2, Anna-3 1/2, Avery-2, Davis- almost 3, Japhet- 15 mon...not pictured: Catherine- 7 mon., Nate- 3 mon.)
